How the firm handles the information visitors choose to share with us, and the choices that remain yours.
Kismet Sports & Entertainment collects only what you choose to send us. We run no advertising, we sell no information, and we do not follow visitors around the web. This page explains what little we do hold, why we hold it, and how to have it corrected or removed.
If you write to us through the contact form, we receive the details you enter: your name, organization, email address, the nature of your inquiry, and your message. If you email us directly, we hold that correspondence. Beyond this, our hosting provider keeps routine server logs, including IP addresses, browser types and pages requested, which exist for security and are not used to identify visitors.
We use what you send us to respond, to consider the inquiry you have raised, and to keep an accurate record of our correspondence. We do not add anyone to a marketing list, and we do not send unsolicited material.
A small number of service providers process information so this site can function:
Each provider acts under its own privacy terms, and none of them receives more than the function requires.
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics. If you play the embedded film, YouTube may set cookies of its own at that point, and not before.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act of Canada and the Personal Information Protection Act of British Columbia. If you visit from the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, the UK GDPR and the GDPR give you rights of access, correction, erasure and objection, and we honour them.
Correspondence is kept for as long as the conversation remains relevant to the firm, and is deleted when it no longer is. We keep nothing for its own sake.
You may ask what we hold about you, ask that it be corrected, or ask that it be deleted. Write to info@kismetsports.com and the partnership will respond directly.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means the current version applies.
